Board
The European Board of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine is a Working Group of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine Section of the Union Européenne des Médecins Specialistes (U.E.M.S., European Union of Medical Specialists). It was founded by a separate statute in 1991.
Clinical Affairs
The Clinical Affairs Committee of the UEMS PRM Section focusses on Quality of Care in PRM practice. The Clinical Affairs Committee of the UEMS Section of PRM (CAC) was set up in 2001, at the suggestion of Prof. Veronika Fialka-Moser (Austria).
Professional Practice
The aim of the Professional Practice Committee is to ensure best standards in professional practice of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (PRM) in prevention, clinical management and rehabilitation throughout Europe.

UEMS PRM Section and Board General Assembly Stockholm 2018
UEMS PRM Section and Board(European Union of Medical Specialists Section of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine and European Board of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine – Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes Section de Médecine Physique et de Réadaptation, Collège Européen de Médecine Physique et de Réadaptation) General Assembly was held Friday 7th – Saturday 8th September 2018 in Stockholm. The first day has been dedicated to working groups activities. Saturday morning the report of each working group has been discussed and voted. The colleagues from Russia announced that their government approved the Medical Specialty in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine. In the end, part of the executive committee has been elected.
